Each year the cooperative hosts a meeting of the members, a time to discuss business items involving the cooperative, elect members to the Board of Directors, and converse with your fellow member-owners and REMC staff. This is a chance for you to get to know the cooperative that serves you, and for us to show you how much we value your membership!
The Annual Meeting will take place at the ARC on the campus of Trine University from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on the second Saturday of June. Activities include a picnic-style lunch, kids' fun with bouncy houses, obstacle courses and games, free health screenings and vendor booths from several community entities and beneficial organizations. Stop by and talk to our Energy Advisor about your usage and see your daily use charts to learn how to cut back on your energy consumption. Sign up for free raffles and giveaways, win door prizes and fill your goody bags with gifts from our vendors. You could win up to $300 off your electric bill just by attending! (Winners need not be present to win. Must register by 12 noon.)
