Dear Steuben County REMC member,

As a member–owned cooperative in our community for the last 83 years, the health of our membership and community is a top priority to us. We are committed to being responsive to the needs of our members and our employees during this situation.

Due to the concerns of COVID-19, in order to protect the health and security of our membership and staff, we have closed our lobby to the public. Steuben County REMC will still operate as usual and will still provide the excellent service and reliability you have come to depend on. 

During this time, we want to remind our membership of the multiple payment methods available to limit the exposure to you and our staff.

Online:
Login to the SmartHub web portal or app to pay your bill or manage your account. Or, you can use the Pay Now feature to securely pay your bill without creating an online account. If you experience difficulty with either of these methods, please contact the office.

Mail:
We will still be process mail payments as usual. Please include the bottom portion of your statement, including account information and balance. Mail your payments to us at:

At Steuben County REMC, we historically have worked with our members during times of financial stress. As we continue to monitor this current crisis, we are prepared to take a more liberal approach as it relates to arrangements and collections.  If you've been financially impacted by COVID-19, please contact our office to discuss how we can help.

Please beware of the potential scams that are currently circulating. They may take advantage of your concerns related to this crisis, including: medical advice, false products, fake charities, and fraudulent links to access your personal information.
